We follow Naomie Pieter to Black Pride, a protest where the queer movement and the anti-racism movement come together.

Black Pride aims to raise awareness about violence, racism, and discrimination against Black queer and trans people. Through Black Pride, Naomie Pieter seeks to claim space for Black queer individuals who do not always feel at home within the queer movement because they are people of color, or who do not always feel welcome in the anti-racism movement because they are queer. The protest also calls for policy changes, such as the decolonization of education and the inclusion of (Black) queer history, safer asylum centers for queer migrants, more social housing, and a reduction in income inequality.
