My mission as a film editor is to craft stories that resonate, inspire, and leave a lasting impact.
For me, my work is more than just arranging footage, it’s about finding the heart of the story and bringing it to life. Give me a collection of raw material, and I’ll work to find the narrative, piece by piece, until it’s told in its truest form.

From the moment I received my first digital camera as a teenager, I knew I wanted to tell stories through film. In 2011, I graduated from the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (HKU), ready to dive into the professional world.

Over the next 4 years, I worked as a freelance video editor, taking on diverse projects that ranged from TV programs to long-form documentaries.
In 2015, I joined VICE Media, where I had the privilege of working on a broad spectrum of projects, from documentaries to branded content. It gave me the opportunity to collaborate with talented directors and creators from all over the world, growing not only as an editor but also as a storyteller.
After 6 fantastic years, I took the next step in my career and returned to freelancing, ready to embrace new opportunities.

I’m excited to work on projects that challenge me and involve meaningful storytelling. Whether it’s a documentary, commercial, or any other form of content, my goal is to engage the audience and keep the final edit true to the story’s core.
